Briggs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, in the United States. The population was 358 at the 2000 census. It lies east of Tahlequah, along U.S. Route 62. It is said to have been named for John Briggs, a local merchant.
The Briggs Elementary School supports students through the eighth grade.
