Chappell is a city in Deuel County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 983 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Deuel County.

Chappell has many fun attractions including Burgie's Bowling Alley, Chappell City Swimming Pool, Chappell Golf Course, Chappell Memorial Library, and in the fall, the CornStalk Haunted Attraction which includes the Trees of Terror, Haunted Barnyard, and the Haunted CornField Maze!

Chappell is home to the Creek Valley Elementary and Creek Valley High School Storm. Creek Valley is class D1 in the NSAA.

Chappell is home to the Creek Valley Storm, offering sports during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. High school sports include Football, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball, Track, and Boys and Girls Golf. There is also a cheerleading team that routinely performs at home basketball games.
