WAHOO ? Nina Papousek wasn?t thinking about personal recognition on the night of Nov. 13, 2009.
The calendar says that spring does not start until Saturday, and winter was definitely on the minds of area residents today. Rain and sleet greeted travelers in the morning and by early afternoon, wind and snow hampered visibility. The roadways were still in pretty good conditions and these travelors make their way through the intersection of Fifth Street and Highway 77 in Wahoo. (Staff Photo by Lisa Brichacek)
WAHOO ? It was a cold and snowy Christmas Day when Saunders County Roads Department employee John Raiter of Ceresco got in his vehicle and started heading to work.

CEDAR BLUFFS ? This year?s state aid numbers are causing mixed emotions with area school officials.
WAHOO ? If things pan out, water could be flowing both directions between Wahoo and Colon.
WAHOO ? A contract has been officially offered to the new superintendent for Wahoo Public Schools.
From The Ashland Gazette ASHLAND ? Spring is in the air and there?s a new wild comedy opening at Mahoney State Park. ?Having a Wonderful Time, Wish You Were Her,? is a wild bedroom comedy by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Millmore, also known for the such favorites as ?Love, Sex and the I.R.S,? ?Suitehearts? and ?Lie, Cheat and Genuflect.?
WAHOO ? It was a situation that could have ended in catastrophe, had it not been for the teamwork of several Wahoo individuals.
