Kuma-Manych Depression
The Kuma-Manych Depression (Russian Кумо-Манычская впадина, Kumo-manychskaya Vpadina), also called Manych, or Manyč, is a geologic depression in western Russia that divides the Russian Plain (north) from the North Caucasus foreland (south).It is regarded by many experts as the natural boundary between Europe and Asia.
